FIFA Director Member Associations Europe, Elkhan Mammadov, arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina last night, where a meeting with Vico Zeljković and the leadership of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Federation is being held today at the BHFF headquarters in Sarajevo.

This marks the first visit of FIFA’s Director for Europe to our country, and the discussions will focus on further strengthening the cooperation between FIFA and the Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Federation, with special emphasis on infrastructure development and improving conditions for children and youth to play football.

The signing of an agreement within the FIFA Arena project is also planned. The project aims to build mini football pitches around the world and is part of FIFA’s grassroots football development strategy.

BHFF President Vico Zeljković welcomed the FIFA delegation and highlighted the importance of the support that the world football governing body provides to development projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
