Edin Visca arrived in Athens with a foot injury, but he was sure he could remedy it and be ready for tonight's qualifier against Greece. Because he's still in pain he won't be able to perform tonight, and that's not easy for him:
"I took it very hard. I got hit twice in the last game and my ankle really hurt. I haven't trained for three or four days, I had daily therapy, and after that I managed to join the last three training sessions. I still felt a lot of pain, but I wanted to play even on medications if necessary. However, because of potential adverse long-lasting effects, I decided not to play. Of course I'm sad about that, this is the most important game in these qualifiers, but I think it's better that someone else who is one hundred percent ready plays instead. I'm really sorry this happened, but I honestly believe that my teammates will give their best tonight and win."
