The head coach of the U-19 team of Vitez, Robert Perković, says on preparations for the continuation of the competition:
“We are preparing in difficult conditions. The weather is such that we cannot train on the pitch, but we are working in the hall in the morning. The guys giving their utmost, but the weather conditions do not help us at all.”
Perković believes that his team can provide an appearance in the PYL also for the following season:
“Our main goal is survival. We are aware that this will be difficult, because three good players left us. However, we will not surrender. Although we are the next-to-last in the table, the lag behind the opponents is not great. The match schedule is easier for us than in the autumn part, because we will play on the home pitch against the competitors for staying in the league. I think that this team has enough talents to compete in the Premier League next season too.”
Already in the first round of the spring part of the competition, Vitez expects a match with a competitor for survival, Čelik from Zenica.
“We expect three points against Čelik. In the first part of the championship we played a draw 2:2 on their field. This time we hope to win”, says Robert Perković.
Filip Šafradin is the first scorer after the autumn part of the competition with 7 goals, while one less is scored by Zvonimir Petrović. Luka Jovanović and Mateo Ramljak scored 2 goals, and Dragan Badrov, Petar Bošatlija, Leon Bošnjak, Amar Durak and Ivan Vujica scored 1 goal.
