The women's “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina is expecting a match with England tomorrow, and one of the more experienced players in the team of Samira Hurem, Alisa Spahić, believes that our team can achieve a positive result:
“We are often asked if we are ready for the match against England. The very fact that we play against the 3rd world national team, in addition to great respect toward them, makes us very motivated to play tomorrow's match with much desire, wish, charge and courage, and to raise the level of self-confidence before a match against Wales. The previous two games against England give us the right to hope, after minimal defeats, to hope for a draw. Besides all that we have, sport luck will be also necessary for that! It should be emphasized that all players are healthy and ready for tomorrow's game.”
In the qualifications for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, both national teams played one game. The BH team beat Kazakhstan 2:0 as a guest, while England was convincing against Russia on its field, by defeating them 6:0.
