The national team players of Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered today and they have already done one training session in the Training Centre of FK Sarajevo in Butmir. Before that, the head coach Mehmed Baždarević addressed the media representatives:

“All players except Sušić and Kolašinac are here, and they will join us tonight too. As you know, Pjanić, Šimunović and Prcić are injured. The injuries are more serious than at first sight and we will not be able to count on them for these matches. We have other solutions that could be interesting. We are sorry we do not have these players, which disturbs a part of our plans and programmes. We believe in the guys that are here and expect of them to be able to answer the challenges against Belgium.”

Baždarević added:

“Belgium is a team with great professionals and come here to win. I do not believe that they will relax regardless they have already qualified. However, the most important thing is how we will function. We want a victory and a good game, and this must be done by one ready team. We have to respond physically and tactically and jointly to reach a favourable result on Saturday. We will do everything to fix the bad things from the previous games.”

The national team player, Avdija Vršajević stated:

“We know what kind of game we are expecting. We have the quality to win Belgium and we will do our best to do it and gladden our fans. It will be difficult, but I think we can do it. We all know how strong they are, but we also have good players and we will go to the field asking for a victory.”
