The BH women’s U-17 players beat Greece in Zenica today, and the head coach Ilija Lucić addressed the media representatives at the end of the match:
“Expected heavy game. We said in the announcement that Ireland was a favourite, but that the other two teams were high quality too. Greece showed it today, they were fighting, but we were still better. We had to solve the match before. We had chances, but the realization was not at level. Nevertheless, the girls fulfilled what they were asked for, we came to victory and we are satisfied with the results.”
The head coach also commented on the next opponent:
“Romania has certain qualities, but also deficiencies. We watched them and we know what we can expect. We have two days to get ready and I expect another victory. Nowadays, U-17 team players supported us from the stands, and that team played twice at the European U-17 Championship final round. They are our motivation to advance to the highest goals.”
The match Bosnia and Herzegovina - Romania is scheduled for 30th September at 16:00 h at the Zenica Training Centre.
