The official press conference of the women's “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ahead of the qualification match for the FIFA Women’s World Cup with Wales, was held at the FF BH Training Centre in Zenica today.
The head coach, Samir Hurem, and the national team's players, Milena Nikolić and Almina Hodžić, spoke about the match.
Hurem thanked media representatives for their support and said: “We played a tough game in England. We did not manage to save our net as we wanted, but England is the best team in the group. Regardless of the result, we can be satisfied with the approach the players had. We were exhausted a little bit in that match, but we had time to rest before a very important match against Wales. The group is tough, but our desire is to win points. With the support of the fans, these players will give more and win the Wales, which is a great team. We believe we will take points tomorrow. "
Nikolić also expects a victory: “The Welsh team is not an easy opponent. In their two qualifying matches they showed quality. We have our purpose, namely to make better results from game to game, to advance so that we can go to the big competition one day. Tomorrow we're going to win three new points. Regardless of the defeat in England, the atmosphere in the team is good and we cannot wait for the match.”
Hodžić says that the team will provide its maximum: “We archived the match against England and we are only thinking of Wales. This is a very important match for us. We will give the maximum and try to correct the mistakes we made in the previous encounter. We want a positive result against Wales.”
The match BH-Wales will be played in the Training Camp in Zenica tomorrow at 13:30 h. The match can be watched at the live broadcast on the City TV Mostar, as well as on the official FF BH YouTube channel.
