Bosnia and Herzegovina Women's Under-18 national football team ended up third by winning the match against Croatia 6-5 today at the FFBIH training center in Zenica, in the third round of UEFA Development Tournament. After the regular 90 minutes, the result was 1-1.

Because the match ended a draw, the penalty shootout had to take place where our team was more successful. After the match coach Nikola Nikic said: "We're satisfied with the tournament. Our players performed really well today and didn't allow their opponents to create too many opportunities. We saw what kind of team we have at our disposal, and we hope we can finish second in our European Championship qualifying group."

In the other match which was played today, Macedonia beat Montenegro 4-2 (1-1), also after a penalty shootout. Croatia won this year's tournament with 6 points, ahead of Macedonia (3), BiH (3), and Montenegro (2).
