Bosnia and Herzegovina Women's Under-18 national football team defeated Montenegro 4-1 today at the stadium Doboj-Kakanj in the first round of UEFA Development Tournament. In the other game, Croatia defeated Macedonia 2-0.

Coach Nikola Nikić: "Girls played brilliantly today. Montenegro is also not a bad team and I'd like to thank them for a fair game. In addition to the four goals we had several opportunities. I hope we'll be ready for the qualifiers in October, but after today's performance it seems we're on the right track."

Team captain Ana Bojanić: "We played well, we did our best, and in the end the better team won. I hope we continue at this pace and win the tournament."

Player Ajla Pašalić: "We played as a team and discipline led us to victory. We're practicing all the time, and if we keep up playing like we did today we can expect a success."

In the second round, our team will play with Montenegro on Aug. 25th at 16:30 hours in Zenica, while Montenegro will play against Croatia at the same time in Vogosca.
