Zoran Erbez: Qualitative checks at the tournament in France

Category: News

The BH U-15 team will leave for Paris tomorrow

The U-15 team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will participate at a friendly tournament in Paris where its opponents will be France, Japan and Morocco from 31.10. to 4.11.2017.

The BH U-15 players played four games this year, and they had two victories and two defeats. The head coach Zoran Erbez believes that this team has a quality:

“As with the previous generation, it is noticeable for these guys that they have a certain quality. There is room for this team to be upgraded and the tournament in France will be good for us to see what level we are and to prepare the players for the obligations they will be faced in the U-17 team next year.”

Erbez says about the tournament:

“We will have quality checks with strong opponents. It will be good for these players to feel the tournaments competition system against the teams that work well and which are surely high quality. We will do our best to present ourselves in the best possible light. We're going there with 18 players who have shown the most so far, but that does not mean there is no room for more players to add to this team. We will continue to monitor all candidates for our U-15 team.”

The head coach of the BH U-15 team points out a good cooperation with colleagues from all youth teams:

“We have continuity in our work and this was proved as a good and proper way. Two generations of U-17 players participated in the European U-17 Championship, and this new one in the elite round of qualifications. In all these teams, the majority of the players played together in the U-15 team, and afterwards in U-19 teams. Of course, it's specific to work with younger ages, because some players are formed earlier, some later. However, the results showed that we selected good teams. The cooperation of youth categories’ head coaches is at a very high level and I think that Malkočević with U-17 players and Karačić with U-19 are doing a great job.”

The U-15 team’s players will gather at the FF BH Training Centre in Zenica tomorrow, where they will depart to Paris at 14:00 h. The elects of Zoran Erbez will play their first match in the tournament against France on 31st November at 16:00 h.
