The final round of the Bosnia and Herzegovina BH Telecom Premier League was played today. HSK Zrinjski Mostar managed to defend last year's championship title by defeating Sloboda Tuzla 3-0 at the stadium Bijeli Brijeg, and ended up one point ahead of the nearest competitor Zeljeznicar. Nemanja Bilbija and Jasmin Mesanovic scored three goals for Zrinjski (11', 42' and 59').
After the match coach Blaz Sliskovic said: "The players are the most responsible for winning the championship. Compared to our closest competitors, we were the most consistent club in the league and we deservedly earned the trophy. We had our ups and downs during the season, however our opponents didn't take advantage of that and now we have succeeded."
In other two games, Zeljeznicar beat Radnik 2-1 at the stadium Grbavica, and Sarajevo lost an away match to Krupa 0-1. Zrinjski will represent our country at the UEFA Champions League qualifiers, while Zeljeznicar, Sarajevo, and Siroki Brijeg will play in the Europa League. Metalleghe BSI and Olimpic will be relegated to the lower division next season.
