ELITE QUALIFICATION ROUND BEGINS ON WEDNESDAY

The final qualifying round for the UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship, which will be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 3rd to 15th May, will begin on Sunday with matches in Group A4. Denmark, Greece and Belarus will play in Group A4, which will be played in Denmark. Russia was also supposed to play in this group, but it was suspended from all competitions under the auspices of UEFA until further notice.

Twenty-eight teams, divided into seven groups, are participating in the "elite" round of qualifications, and only the winners will qualify for the final tournament in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Group A1 (March 23-29): Republic of Ireland *, Iceland, Finland, Slovakia
Group A2 (April 7-13): Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary *, Ukraine
Group A3 (March 24-30): Sweden, Norway *, Serbia, Romania
Group A4 (March 13-19): Denmark *, Greece, Belarus
Group A5 (March 23 - 29): Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Kosovo *
Group A6 (March 24-30): Poland *, France, England, Croatia
Group A7 (March 16-22): Netherlands, Portugal *, Italy, Montenegro
