It has three grandstands: west, east and north, with a total capacity of 7,000 seats.
According to UEFA criteria, "Pecara" is one of the three stadiums in Bosnia and Herzegovina that belongs to the third category, which means that it meets the conditions for playing the third round of qualifications and play-offs of the UEFA Champions League and Europa League, as well as qualifying national team matches.
The stadium was built in 1953, and the first significant works were done in 1974, when a new turf was set up and a concrete grandstand was built in the south.
The stadium has floodlights, electronic scoreboard, modern dressing rooms and all other ancillary facilities.
A record number of visitors (10,000) at the Pecara was recorded on 10th February 2002, when Dinamo from Zagreb and Hajduk from Split met in a friendly match.
