Vedad Ibisevic had a hard and not quite successful season behind him, however he arrived at the training session in good mood and full of optimism. When looking back at past season at VfB Stuttgart he says: "I'm not happy with it. It was a bad season for both the club and myself, we barely made it without dropping out of league. I'm still under a contract for two years, but you never know what might happen. As I said, I'm not satisfied with my status in the club, however a new coach is on his way, so we'll see what's next."
His thoughts on match with Israel: "We all come to the training sessions with good or bad experiences and moods from the past seasons. But here we're leaving those feelings behind us and focus on one goal, and that's how to win three points. It doesn't matter who will play or won't play, all we know is that it's not going to be easy and we have to make an effort in order to win."
We asked him about his post-match plans: "I'm going on a vacation with my family. We haven't been to Antalya before, but it's more important for us to rest and have everything we need at one resort because the training sessions at the club start soon."
