By launching the new project titled "Development and Strengthening of the Quality Management System in Business Processes," the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has continued efforts to establish a stable and reliable quality management system aimed at optimizing business and sports performance. This project reaffirms the continuity of similar past initiatives, through which FFBiH obtained certification from Germany's auditing body "TÜV SÜD" for compliance with relevant international ISO standards.
Some of the most important objectives include ensuring the functionality and sustainability of business processes, achieving optimal competencies among administrative staff, establishing an efficient system of internal and external communication, standardizing project management, and implementing procedures for risk analysis and resolution, and opportunity utilization. Additionally, aligned with global trends and latest ISO requirements, FFBiH will introduce safety measures in business processes concerning the impact of climate change, as well as developing sustainable policies and environmental protection standards.
"Four years ago, the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted a Quality Policy Statement, committing to the consistent application of legal and regulatory requirements, as well as FIFA and UEFA regulations and relevant international good governance standards. Through continuous development of our performance, we have taken appropriate steps to ensure high levels of satisfaction among all parties and meet the public’s growing expectations. With this approach, aimed at achieving excellence in our regular business operations, we significantly increase our chances of attaining our goals in line with the Federation’s vision, mission, and strategy. In that sense, the good governance project we're implementing, with significant support from UEFA, represents another step toward optimizing results across all aspects of our work," said Adnan Džemidžić, FFBiH General Secretary.
The project is set for a two-year period, with a dynamic action plan outlining activities and their scheduled execution timelines. Key performance indicators have been defined to establish a clear link between project activities and objectives. Each activity is assigned a set of measurable indicators, and progress will be monitored and recorded throughout implementation.
Besides regular reporting to UEFA on project implementation, FFBiH will undergo a scheduled supervisory review by an accredited certification body in mid-2025, preceded by internal audits within the General Secretariat.
