Before training, a brief press conference was held where head coach Sergej Barbarez and player Ermedin Demirović addressed the media.

When asked about injuries sidelining several players, Barbarez said: "I'll never claim I have a problem or that I'm missing a certain player. This is a national team, and there are plenty of players here capable of stepping up. That's part of the sport. We have young guys we hope will succeed and become part of the team. Nearly half of the team is under 25. We're aiming for something positive for our present and future."

Regarding the medical situation, he added: "Gazibegović and Mujakić won’t be ready, but I hope Nihad will be for the match with Netherlands on Tuesday. As for Dedić, he was ready before this camp, has been training, and continues to do so here. He’s short a few games since he missed the last four, but he’s fine."

When asked about the busy match schedule, Demirović said: "There are so many matches on the calendar, and my goal is to play every one of them. It’s a lot - I’ve even discussed with my wife at home how it’s more of a mental challenge than a physical one. Playing football is the easy part, but the travel, hotels, always being on the road - that’s the hard part. It has its positives and negatives."

The Germany-BiH match begins tomorrow at 20:45 at the Europa-Park stadium. The game will be officiated by Vassilis Fotias from Greece, with assistants Andreas Meintanas and Vasileios Nikolakakis. Fotios Polychronis will serve as the fourth official, while Angelos Evangelou and Stefanos Koumparakis will handle VAR room duties.
