“It’s always nice to end the season with the title, but I wouldn’t say that it affected my self-confidence a lot, because when you’re a Dinamo player, it’s a habit. We often win the trophy and it has become a habit.”
Where do you see yourself in club football and where in national football?
“I am a Dinamo player; I have a contract for another year and all my plans are related to Dinamo. If anything else appears, I will do it in agreement with the club and the family. For now, everything is as it should be. As for the national team, it is clear that I see myself in it as far as I can. We have quality, we have national enthusiasm and everything we need for a real result. It’s time to make it.”
What makes you happiest when you come to the preparations?
“I always rejoice when I see known people from the national team, friends, fans who welcome us. It is a special feeling to be part of the national team and I am always excited when the arrival is approaching, as if it is my first time.”
We start competition within the Nations League with a duel against Finland. What have we learned from previous encounters with them that we can use to our advantage?
“We are certainly more experienced. We learned in all those matches that ended the way they already ended. All this makes us better and more serious before each new cycle. I hope we will show that these days.”
Your expectations in this match but also in the others that follow
“Always the highest possible when it comes to B&H. I repeat, we have quality and that is the most important thing. If some things match, we can cheer up the nation. I’m sure of that.”
