“I'm proud of what I saw tonight. The result in my opinion, is a bit too high. We conceded cheap goals, but that’s the result of extensive running, where we simply ran out of energy. The timing of the match also played a part, as the players wrapped up their championships about ten days ago. We have to consider that we’re missing nine players from an ‘ideal’ lineup. There were a lot of debutants, and it’s not easy to field even the experienced players against a team like England. These two matches will definitely show us what to do next. There were definitely good things that will help us.”
Benjamin Tahirović had a tough fight with England's midfielders: “England is one of the favorites for the upcoming European Championship. We expected a tough match; we played in a new system, with a new coach and new staff, and I think that brought new energy and good morale in the team. We need a bit more time to get better, but we're already making progress. Of course, we have to keep working. We have a few days to prepare for Italy and to be even better. We have good chemistry in the team, a good connection, we trust the staff and they trust us.”
