As part of the Bosnia and Herzegovina "A" team’s media activities in Ilidža today, defender Adrian Leon Barišić spoke to the press. Our national team player began by expressing sincere condolences to all those who lost their loved ones in the floods that affected our country recently.
Barišić then spoke about his form: "I’m happy with my performances, and I think I arrived in better form compared to the last camp. In the last round, I scored the only goal in a tense and very important match for my club. That gave me even more confidence, of course. I believe I’ll continue with the good form in the national team jersey as well."
Adrian Leon Barišić also commented on the upcoming opponents and our team’s performance: "Certainly we don’t go into any match to lose. We’re going to give the Germans our best effort. If we’re organized in defense like we were against Hungary, I believe we can cause them trouble and punish them on the counter. We’ve analyzed the previous matches and worked to correct some mistakes we’ve made so far. It’s important to prepare well, and I believe we can play two solid games."
The players will have a training session today at 4:30 PM in Butmir.
