The Bosnia and Herzegovina national "A" team conducted a training session this morning in Butmir as part of preparations for the October matches, with another one scheduled later today. At the Austria & Bosnia hotel in Ilidža, player Ivan Bašić spoke to the media.
This young midfielder said, among other things: "It’ll definitely mean a lot to us to play at home, in front of a packed Bilino Polje. That’ll be extra motivation for us to show that we can stand up to Germany, and later to Hungary as well. If we didn’t believe we could win, we wouldn’t be here. Germany is a great team, but we certainly have our chances as well. Against teams like this, we need to perform at the highest possible level. Every day, we’re proving ourselves in trainings and giving our best to be ready for these matches."
