One of them is Dženis Burnić, who made his debut for the Dragons in the second half against England. “I'm very proud and happy about my debut, just like I said right after the match. Bosnia and Herzegovina is the country I love, and I'm proud to be part of the national team story. Considering that I made my first appearance in our team's first-ever match against England, and at the same time in the 'home of football', it adds even more significance. I'm simply delighted and can't find words to describe how I felt when I entered the game,” says Burnić.
Our players are currently preparing for the match against Italy, and Dženis highlights unity as the main strength of the BiH team: “We've been together for a long time, and everything is going smoothly. We're working well and hard, so we're going to be ready for the match against Italy. We're all like one big family here. The coaching staff, led by coach Sergej Barbarez, have great energy that they pass on to us players. I'm glad I have the opportunity to learn from so many of our former national team members.”
