Debutants about the match with Montenegro

In the friendly match with Montenegro, 4 players made their first appearance for the “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Adi Nalić said last night after the match that he was sorry that the BH team did not win, and addition to him debuted Aleksandar Jovičić, Damir Sadiković and Jusuf Gazibegović.

Jovičić played the whole match, and says about the match with Montenegro:

“It was a special moment for me and I am proud of my debut for the “A” team. As for the game, it could have been better. We are not satisfied with the result, but I hope that it will be better in the next period. We got into the match well, but we later made mistakes in passing the ball, while the opponent managed well on the pitch. From our mistakes, they created several opportunities and fortunately, but fortunately Šehić was up to the task. We also had some opportunities of our own, but we still need time to play.”

Sadiković entered the match in the 54th minute.

“This debut is special for me, because I made my first appearance for the national team at the stadium where I started my more serious career and where I spent a lot of time. I will surely remember this moment for the rest of my life. As for my performance, I think it was correct. I really had the desire and the will, but I’m sorry that, in general, we didn’t show more against Montenegro. The opponent was more specific, but it cannot be said that they really outplayed us. We also had a couple of goal situations, so a draw is probably the most realistic result”, said this midfielder.

Gazibegović is also happy about his debut:

“It’s an indescribable feeling I had when I entered the game. My dream has come true. I’m sorry we didn’t get a better result, we allowed too many chances to the opponent. We were not exactly at the level, but we are together in this line-up for the first time, so that could have been expected in a way. Regardless, I think we have quality and we can only be better against Denmark. I can do much better too, but I am proud of my debut and I hope to have more opportunities to show what I know.”
