“First of all, congratulations to the guys on a great game and a well-deserved victory. They did their best, and that is not easy in this term. Congratulations on everything they have shown. We played very well tonight, but, unfortunately, we missed a lot of great chances. On the other hand, the opponent approached the goal a couple of times and they scored. That’s the only thing I’m dissatisfied with. We scored three goals, we won and we are happy about that”, said Petev and added:

“All the players, then we in the technical staff, my assistants, have been doing everything for Bosnia and Herzegovina since the first day. We are self-confident and now the results are coming.”

When asked if the BH team was too offensive in the first half, the head coach replied:

“It was a risk we took and we created great opportunities. Unfortunately, we did not position ourselves well at the opponent’s goals, but we introduced another stopper into the game, so we improved that and gained additional security. In the end, the most important thing is that we won.”
