Dragons' Defeated By England

In a friendly match, the Bosnia and Herzegovina national "A" team was defeated by England 3:0 (0:0 HT) at St. James' Park in Newcastle tonight.

In the first half, England had greater ball possession but couldn't create any serious chances in front of Nikola Vasilj's goal. The Dragons played disciplined, combative, and organized football, breaking up the home team's attacks in a timely manner.

In the 59th minute, Benjamin Tahirović pulled Ezri Konsa's shirt in the penalty area, and after consulting the VAR room, referee Rohit Saggi awarded a penalty. Nikola Vasilj read Cole Palmer's shot, but England still took the lead from the penalty after an hour of play. In the 85th minute, following an England attack, Jack Grealish assisted Trent Alexander Arnold, who scored at the far post for 2:0. The final score of 3:0 was set in the 89th minute by Harry Kane, who capitalized on a crowded box in front of Vasilj's goal.

The match was attended by 50,061 spectators.

Our national team will play another friendly match against Italy on June 9th (8:45 PM) at the Carlo Castellani stadium in Empoli.
