Dragons Defeated in Freiburg

Bosnia and Herzegovina suffered a heavy 7:0 (3:0) loss to Germany at the Europa Park stadium in Freiburg tonight during the 5th round of Group A3 in the UEFA Nations League.

Germany took the lead in the 2nd minute when Jamal Musiala headed in Joshua Kimmich's cross from the right past goalkeeper Nikola Vasilj. The second goal came in the 23rd minute when Robert Andrich’s shot from 16 meters deflected off Tim Kleindienst into the net. Kai Havertz made it 3:0 in the 37th minute following a one-two with Florian Wirtz.

Just five minutes into the second half, Germany scored their fourth goal, with Florian Wirtz finding the net directly from a 20-meter free kick. Seven minutes later, after quickly getting the ball back, Germany struck again as Florian Wirtz netted his second goal, assisted by Kai Havertz, making it 5:0. Leroy Sane added the sixth in the 66th minute, while Tim Kleindienst completed the rout with his second goal in the 79th minute, following Antonio Rudiger’s cross.

In the other Group A3 match, the Netherlands defeated Hungary 4:0 in Amsterdam. After five rounds, Germany leads the table with 13 points, followed by the Netherlands (8), Hungary (5), and Bosnia and Herzegovina (1).

The final round is scheduled for Tuesday, November 19, with Bosnia and Herzegovina hosting the Netherlands and Hungary facing Germany.
