Dragons Face Germany Tomorrow

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national "A" football team held an official training session today in Butmir ahead of the match against Germany in the UEFA A Nations League.

Our team has played with Germany twice, and both matches were friendlies.

The first match was played at the Asim Ferhatović-Hase stadium in Sarajevo on October 11, 2002, and ended in a 1:1 draw. The BiH team took the lead via Elvir Baljić in the 21st minute, while Carsten Jancker equalized for the visitors in the 56th minute.

In the second match, played on June 3, 2010, in Frankfurt, Germany won 3:1. Once again, Bosnia and Herzegovina took the lead with Edin Džeko’s goal in the 15th minute, but Germany turned it around with Philipp Lahm scoring in the 50th minute, followed by Bastian Schweinsteiger's two penalties in the 73rd and 77th minutes.

The BiH - Germany match is scheduled for October 11 at 20:45 at the Bilino Polje stadium in Zenica.
