Dragons played tie in Vienna and qualified to the League A!

The “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina played with Austria 0:0 at the Ernst-Happel Stadium in Vienna this evening and secured the first place in Group 3 of the UEFA Nations League.

With this point, the selected players of Robert Prosinečki secured an appearance in the League A in the next season of this competition.

The BH team had its first chance was in the 6th minute, when Miralem Pjanić took a corner kick and Toni Šunjić sent the ball by head above the goal.

In the next 20 minutes, there were no good opportunities, and then Edin Višća tried from the right side of the Austrian penalty area, but the ball, which he kicked, was thrown by the goalkeeper Heinz Lindner in the corner.

Edin Džeko kicked great in the 33rd minute from the edge of the penalty area, but the ball went besides the goal.

Višća tried once again on the right side in the 45th minute, after the excellent pass of Džeko, but the ball went close to the opposite goalpost.

Austria threatened in the 51st minute, but Martin Hinteregger and Marko Arnautović were not precise.

In the 58th minute, Džeko received the ball next to the two Austrian players and shot from about ten meters above the crossbar.

Haris Duljević shot greatly from the left wing in the 64th minute, but Linder turned the ball into the corner with an utmost effort. After a corner kick, Ervin Zukanović tried from a favourable position, but was not precise.

In the 87th minute, Amer Gojak entered the game instead of Miralem Pjanić and recorded his first performance for the BH national team.

Marko Arnautović did not use a good chance in the finals of the match so 0:0 remained.
