Coach Savo Milošević and his assistants had energetic players at their disposal, and the preparations for this important match went by in an excellent atmosphere. FFBiH vice president Irfan Durić, and general secretary Adnan Džemidžić attended the training session.

The BiH team has previously faced Ukraine twice in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. In an away match in Lviv, the match ended a draw 1:1, with Anel Ahmedhodžić scoring for our team. In the rematch in Zenica, the Ukrainians won 0:2.
