Before the training session, coach Sergej Barbarez and player Ermedin Demirović addressed the media: “We've had a few days to think about everything after the match with England, and most importantly, we've had our peace here. We've lost two players due to injuries, but we have enough warriors in the team. It's really unnecessary to talk about the quality of the Italian national team. They're a fantastic team that will surely try to play their best in their final test before the European Championship, but we'll also do our best to be worthy opponents,” said Barbarez.
Demirović stated: “We've had enough time to analyze the last game. It's important for us to have spent these days together as a team and used this UEFA break to build something bigger than what we've had so far. Italy is one of the best European teams and the current European champion. So, they're the favorites in tomorrow's match, but that might be good for us to show everything we know and achieve a good result. We're not here as tourists; we'll try to play our best.”
The Italy vs BiH match is scheduled for tomorrow at 8:45 PM at the Carlo Castellani stadium in Empoli. The match will be officiated by Chrysovalantis Theouli from Cyprus.
