FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Draw Held

The draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, was held this evening at the Kennedy Center in Washington.

If Bosnia and Herzegovina qualify through the playoff, they’ll be placed in Group B alongside Canada, Qatar, and Switzerland.

As a reminder, our national team will face Wales away in the playoff semifinals on March 26. If they advance, the Dragons will play the final at home on March 31 against the winner of the Italy vs. Northern Ireland duel.

The FFBiH delegation in Washington included President Vico Zeljković, presidential advisor Marko Miličić, national "A" team assistant coach Mirko Hrgović, and team manager Adi Osmanović.

World Cup 2026 groups:

  • Group B: Canada, playoff winner Wales/Bosnia and Herzegovina/Italy/Northern Ireland, Qatar, Switzerland

The World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19 2026.
