Pjanić played 86 matches for the BH national team and scored 13 goals, and on 20th August 2008, he made his debut in a friendly match against Bulgaria at the Bilino Polje Stadium in Zenica.
He is currently a member of Juventus, and during his career, he played for Metz, Lyon and Roma.
