The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina had its first chance in the 13th minute, when Darko Todorović passed to the right and played back to Edin Džeko, who sent the ball from about fifteen meters besides the goal.
The home team threatened in the 18th minute from the free kick with Yung Wooyong, but Ibrahim Šehić threw the ball into the corner.
Haris Duljević sent the ball from the left side to Džeko in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper of South Korea, Kim Seunggyu ran out in front of his goal and threw the ball in the field.
In the 27th minute, Son Heungmin fought for the shot position in the penalty area of the BH team, but Šehić was at the height of the task.
