Hrgović discussed the team’s preparations: "We’ve had four training sessions, and everything is going well. We’re really pleased with how the players have responded. Baždar and Zlomislić have minor issues, but they should be fine by matchday. Our goal is three points, we’re preparing for that. We’re taking this seriously, just like every game."
He added: "We want to restore pride in the national team, and we keep repeating that message - to bring the fans back. That’s one reason we opened today’s training, to connect with people. The players have responded brilliantly, showing amazing energy in every session, and that truly makes us happy."
Haris Hajradinović said: "The atmosphere is excellent, and you saw it at training too. It’s a reflection of our performances in the last two matches, and I hope we keep playing, training, and winning like this. I hope we win both of these games."
On the next opponent, Hajradinović said: “Everyone sees San Marino as underdogs. On paper, they’re a smaller team compared to us, and many assume three points are guaranteed. I don’t see it that way - we must never underestimate any opponent. Nowadays, every mistake gets punished, so we have to stay fully focused all 90 minutes. We need to start strong, score early, and then the rest will come easier."
The national team will hold an open training session today at Grbavica stadium in Sarajevo, starting at 18:00.
