Many things in our team depend on a performance of Miralem Pjanić, and he is in the mood and ready to respond to all demands of the technical staff.

Pjanić says about preparations in Sarajevo:

“They were great; most players are in good shape after preparations in their clubs. Now, we start with important matches, because we played several friendly matches so far, in which we got acquainted and used to the new head coach, but also to each other, because there were many young players. We have done well and we are ready to play a strong match against Northern Ireland and show what we can do.”

Pjanić points out that the opponent is good and that the match will not be easy:

“Northern Ireland is a good team and it will not be easy to play against them. We are aware that we are expecting a physically demanding game, because as the head coach said, they are based on their physical strength and they are also dangerous in breaks. We must pay attention to this, but at the same time impose our game, especially domination in the middle of the field. As I said, it will not be easy, but we need to impose and control the game. We are in good shape and we can do it.”
