He speaks with special emotions about the invitation and first impressions:

“It has always been my dream to come to the “A” national team and here my dream has come true, all that remains is to play. I hope to get the opportunity, I honestly can’t wait and I will fight to the maximum to justify this invitation. Impressions are great, I know Đokanovic and Demirovic from the young national team, Smail (Prevljak) from Salzburg, but I am sure that I will get to know everyone well during the preparations.”

When it comes to competition, Gazibegović points out:

"I am not afraid of competition; it can only be an advantage and it is good to have it. Personally, it motivates me to improve even more, work and provide the most and the best I can. Without competition, I think it’s hard to progress as a player.”

He has not yet met Ivica Osim, our honorary president, in person, but he knows a lot about him.

“I am honoured to play in a club and a city where Osim is a legend and also extremely respected. It is also my motive to work even harder and prove myself. It is difficult to describe in words how much they love him, not only in the club but also in Graz. There are pictures of him all over town, and he was at the stadium when we played against Salzburg and I saw him recently. I would love and hope to have the opportunity to meet him personally and talk to him, because, like I said, he is a great legend there. By the way, it is not easy to play in one such club, it took me a while, but now I am doing well and I am a standard member of the team.”

Jusuf Gazibegović made his first dream come true. Given how old he is, the time to prove and achieve other dreams and goals is before him.
