A young national team’s player of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after three days of preparations, with excitement tells how much the invitation from the head coach Prosinečki means to him:
“I’m immensely happy to be here, along with players who are my idols and whom I admire. It was my dream. Since I’ve been training and since I started thinking about football at all, it was my dream to play for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to go out before our fans and experience this euphoria in the matches. I’m proud that I will have the opportunity to play with my idol, Edin Džeko.”
About how he feels in the “A” team and the atmosphere, Demirović says:
“I could not even imagine that the atmosphere in the team was so good. I am greatly accepted by the older players; we are talking, laughing and joking as if we have known each other for a long time. Still, I must say that I still have a bit of jitters when I talk to them and, of course, a great respect.”
In a walk and some free activities, Demirović is most often with Amer Gojak, which he confirms:
“I have been a roommate with Gojak at the gatherings of youth teams for the past two years, and we have been known since we played for the U-17 team. We agree well, although I’m better than him in the FIFA and other video-games.”
The training sessions are seriously done, which does not present a problem for a young BH national player, who says with a degree of self-confidence:
“I can respond to the demands that the head coach and the technical staff placed before us. We do similar in the club, I’m used to it, and it’s nothing new for me. I believe that I will show that I am not by chance here, that I will justify the invitation and convince everyone that I am a good player.”
