This was the final test for the "Azzurri" before the upcoming European Championship in Germany, and another fine test for our team after the match with England, ahead of the UEFA Nations League Division A games this fall.
In the 8th minute, BiH had a great chance when Gianluigi Donnarumma saved Haris Hajradinović's shot. Three minutes later, Kenan Pirić made a great save following Federico Chiesa's shot. Pirić was also on point in the 14th minute, stopping Davide Frattesi's run. In the 18th minute, Jusuf Gazibegović took a free kick, and Donnarumma tipped the ball over the bar. Andrea Cambiaso made a good cross from the left in the 24th minute, but Nihad Mujakić intervened just in time in front of Raoul Bellanova. In the 38th minute, Federico Chiesa crossed from the left, and Davide Frattesi volleyed the ball into the net from about 10 meters.
The second half began with Italy getting the first chance, with Gianluca Scamacca shooting well, but Pirić made another good save, pushing the ball out for a corner kick. Scamacca and Pirić had another duel in the 73rd minute, but our goalkeeper again came out on top, saving the Italian striker's shot from about 10 meters after a Cambiaso cross.
