National Team Begins Preparations for Romania and Cyprus

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national "A" football team held its first training session today as preparations officially began for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Romania and Cyprus.

Head coach Sergej Barbarez and his coaching staff had the full team available for the opening session.

Before training, player Tarik Muharemović said: "I'm always happy to join the national team. I come in ready and eager to prove myself from the very first session. We’re not here to play around or joke but to win and make our dream come true. I expect a great match against Romania. A tough opening game, but we need to show what our goal is, and that’s the World Cup."

The team will hold another training session tomorrow at 16:00 at FK Sarajevo's training camp in Butmir.
