After the match, a press conference was held at which the head coach of the BH national team, Ivaylo Petev, stated:

“Congratulations to all the guys who played today, they did almost everything that was required of them. Considering which team we had as our opponent, we played very smart. We showed unity, fought for each other and that ultimately brought the result. Maybe we could have done more, but the opponent is one of the best teams in the world and I am satisfied.”

Petev added:

“We still have a lot of work ahead of us and we will continue on the path we set out on. We progress from match to match. We have to have the same approach in all matches. We respect all opponents, but the most important thing is what we can do. Every player who comes to the national team must give his utmost for that jersey and we will do our best to be even better.”
