Ermin Bičakčić says on tonight’s match with Spain:
“Spain is one of the best teams in the world, but we played well and only in the 78th minute received a goal. In the second half, we were not as active as we should have been and we should not allow them to come into positions to endanger us. It’s a pity we received a goal. If we held 0:0, it would be great, so in the end, of course, we are not happy that we lost the match.”
Bojan Nastić has a similar opinion:
“In the first 45 minutes we showed that we could deal with the best national teams in the world. The head coach was also pleased with our game in that period. We missed the finishing pass, but I am pleased that we showed that Bosnia and Herzegovina had good players and that we were not afraid of a favoured opponent. It was my pleasure to play against such big football names and to show that we could match them.”
Elvis Sarić believes that this match was a good test for BH players:
“After a tough match with Austria, in which we spent ourselves a lot, this time we played against one of the best teams in the world. We opposed them very well, but unfortunately, before the very end of the match, we received a goal from the situation where we could better react. All in all, a good match and a great test for us, when we showed that we could handle teams like Spain.”
Ervin Zukanović stated:
“There was a feeling that the match was friendly and the teams cautiously entered the match in some way. We played a good game, we had some chances. Everyone gave his utmost and we can be satisfied with that. We know where we are, and now we will focus on qualifications.”
