They all trained except Gojko Cimirot who had a problem with Achilles’ tendon, while Kenan Pirić would join the team tomorrow.
Prior to the training session, the head coach Robert Prosinečki stated:
“Today we have gathered and we have a short period of time to prepare for this important match with Austria. It’s sure it will not be easy, but we can expect a good match at the full stadium. It will be interesting to play in front of around 15 thousand of our fans. We will play as before, the players will certainly do their best again and we can expect a good result.”
Prosinečki also added:
“We are satisfied with the form of the player. 95% of the national team’s players are standard in their clubs, which is commendable. We have a winning streak that made a good atmosphere in the team. The most important thing is that the players are healthy and ready to play a good match on Thursday.”
