The 24-year-old stopper does not hide his enthusiasm for this invitation:

“I always gave my best, especially when I played in the jersey with the national emblem in the youth national teams. Ever since I can remember I wanted to be part of our best national team and coming to this gathering is a dream come true for me. It is not difficult for me to fit in, because there are players there with whom I have played before. Everyone accepted me in the best way and everything is very positive in our camp.”

Šerbečić followed the matches of the BH team in this cycle:

“Of course, I didn’t miss the matches played by our team. The games and results achieved by the team in this cycle of the UEFA Nations League are highly commendable and can bring joy to all those who have Bosnia and Herzegovina in their hearts. Our national team has quality and I am sure that we will remain in first place in the group even after the matches with Montenegro and Romania. I am at the head coach’s disposal and, if I get playing time in these matches, I will do my best to use the most of every second spent on the pitch. However, I emphasize that the most important thing is that the team continues to achieve good results and that we are first in the group.”

About his games in the club, Šerbečić says:

“I am standard in Aalesund and I can be satisfied with my games. In this club, I got the playing time I needed and the invitation to the national team is an indication that my games did not go unnoticed. It’s up to me to keep working and try to be even better, and I hope that my team will also achieve satisfactory results and that we will progress in the ranking-table.”
