Sergej Barbarez Announces Roster for Romania and Austria

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s national "A" football team will play two matches next month in Group H of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Our team will host Romania on November 15 at Bilino Polje in Zenica, and three days later visit Austria at Ernst-Happel stadium in Vienna.

Head coach Sergej Barbarez has called up 24 players for these matches. The full list can be downloaded HERE.

Barbarez commented the team and upcoming matches: "We’ve got important matches ahead that will determine the final outcome of these qualifiers. We’re highly motivated going into camp and the games that could bring us a lot. We’ve got a chance to do something big, a chance we’ve earned ourselves. We’re glad to have Sead Kolašinac back after a long break. I believe he’ll be ready because he’s a very important player for our team. Arjan Malić is also returning from injury and has already shown we can count on him. We’ve also decided to bring back Amir Hadžiahmetović. On top of that, we’ve got a debutant - Emir Karić, whom we’ve been following for a while. All in all, I expect these 24 players to rise to the occasion, and I’m sure they’re approaching these crucial duels against Romania and Austria with great ambition and confidence."

Sergej Barbarez will hold a press conference on November 10 at 13:00 at FFBiH headquarters in Sarajevo.
