The “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina played draw with Montenegro 0:0 in a friendly match at the “Bilino Polje” today.

The first 17 minutes on the pitch were spent by three players who gave a lot the BH football, Emir Spahić, Zvjezdan Misimović and Vedad Ibišević. In this way, they farewell from the jersey with the national coat and they received commemorative gifts from the FF BH president Elvedin Begić, the general secretary Jasmin Baković, and the executive director of the sports sector, Elmir Pilav.

Until this match, Spahić reached 93 caps for the “A” team and scored 6 goals, Misimović had 83 caps and shook the opponents’ nets 26 times, while Ibišević played one match less, but scored two goals more.

In the first period of the match, Bosnia and Herzegovina had more opportunities. The captain Edin Džeko was not precise in three occasions from favourable positions, Miralem Pjanić hit the goal post, and Kenan Kodro missed a good chance.

There were also opportunities in the second half, and the first big chance was missed by Džeko in the 69th minute, when he entered the opponent’s penalty area and shot from the left side near the goal. Only a minute later, Duljević tried from a similar position, but the goalkeeper Danijel Petković threw the ball into the corner.

The guests threatened in the 79th minute. Marko Janković shot the free kick from about 20 meters, but he sent the ball above the goal.

By the end of the match there were no chances, so the result was not changed. Debut for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina in this match was made by a Genk player, Bojan Nastić.
