The Dragons arrive at the Training Centre

Today, in the FF BH Training Centre in Zenica, the gathering of the “A” national team players of Bosnia and Herzegovina began, which will feature UEFA Nations League matches with Italy and Poland.

So far, 7 players have arrived at the camp, and among them are debutants Branimir Cipetić, Vladan Danilović and Amir Hadžiahmetović.

“I was invited to the March gathering, but unfortunately it was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, and now I am finally at the gathering of the “A” national team. I am very happy and proud of that, because every player’s dream is to play for the national team. The team is composed of very high-quality players who play in strong leagues, and I am glad that I am here too”, said Cipetić.

Danilović says about the invitation to the “A” team:

“All this surprised me, of course in a positive sense. I was already getting ready to go to the gathering of the young national team, and then this invitation followed and I am really happy about that. I will do my best to justify expectations and show that I deserve to be here. It is a great honour to play for the U-21 national team, and this is another step forward in my career and it means a lot to me.”

Hadžiahmetović did not hide his enthusiasm for coming to the national team either:

“It is an incredible feeling to be invited to the “A” national team. I’ve been trying to get to that for years. Finally, that invitation came which makes me very happy and I hope to show myself in the best light. The team is quite good and I believe it will make good results.”
