The “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered at the “Austria & Bosnia” Hotel in Ilidža today and started preparations for qualifying matches for the EURO 2020 with Armenia and Greece.
On this occasion, representatives of the media were addressed by the head coach Robert Prosinečki:
“We have five days to prepare for these matches and analyse the opponents. We will see weaknesses and good sides of our opponents. I am an optimist and I believe we can win in these two matches. Armenia is not a team to underestimate, and Greece is fighting and knows how to play for the result. We have a confidence and good atmosphere in the team and I believe that we can do a lot.”
Prosinečki commented on the injury of Sarić:
“We know about his problem and most likely will not be able to play against Armenia. He was very good in the previous matches and his absence will be a handicap for us. We will see until the match who will replace him.”
Representatives of the media were addressed by Haris Duljević and Amer Gojak.
“It’s not the same to play for the national team and the club. I’m the best example of that. I’m glad I am standard at my club. I hope that I will continue with good games in the national team”, said Duljević.
“I am an optimist, we have a self-confidence. The Armenians will be motivated against us and we will have to be maximally concentrated. The Greeks are an unpleasant opponent, but we know how to play against them. It’s good that both matches are played home and we want to open the qualifications by a victory.”
