Izet Hajrović tried from the edge of the penalty area in the 12th minute, but Benjamin Büchel stopped his shot. Haris Duljević shot from a similar position in the 32nd minute, but the ball went beside the goal this time.
In the 38th minute, Armin Hodžić freed of his guard and kicked from the asquint left side of the opponent’s penalty area, but the goalkeeper Büchel deflected his shot to Haris Hajradinović who sent the ball over the goal from a favourable position.
Hodžić also tried by a head-shot after a corner-kick in the 45th minute, but Büchel once again intervened well.
After a mistake of Liechtenstein’s defence in the 55th minute, Dino Hotić had a good opportunity, but was not precise from the asquint left side.
The Dragons came to advantage in the 57th minute. Hajrović centred from the right, Hajradinović switched the ball by head to the second goal post to Eldar Ćivić who scored his first goal for the BH national team.
Armin Hodžić increased the lead to 2:0 with a precise kick from the edge of the penalty area.
Hodžić also scored the third goal for BH in the 72nd minute. Muhamed Bešić sent an excellent ball into Liechtenstein’s penalty area for Armin Hodžić, who passed the goalkeeper Büchel and hit the net.
By the end of the match, our national team had more opportunities, but the result was not changed any more.
In this match, the first appearances in the jersey of the “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina were entered by Haris Hajradinović and Dino Hotić.
The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina finished qualifications on the 4th position of Group J behind Italy, Finland and Greece and ahead of Armenia and Liechtenstein. The Dragons will have a chance to qualify for the European Championships in the play-offs scheduled for March 2020.
