The head coach Ivaylo Petev and the national team player Anel Ahmedhodžić answered the questions of the journalists.
When asked how many players will get playing minutes in tomorrow’s match, Petev answered:
“We can make six changes, so tomorrow as many players as the rules allow will get a chance. After tomorrow’s meeting, we will decide who will perform. We are entering this match very seriously, with unity and we are going to win. When it comes to the system, it is very possible to continue on the same, i.e., 3-5-2. We are used to that formation and we played several good matches in that system. We were not so good in some matches and I hope that in the next cycle we will reduce mistakes and achieve better results.”
About the national team of Georgia Ivaylo Petev says:
“They play well as a team and have quality individuals. That is their strong point, but what matters is how we will look on the pitch. We respect them and everything they have done in the past period. I expect a good match tomorrow. We are the favourites on paper, but that needs to be shown on the pitch and that is why we are entering tomorrow’s match as seriously as possible.”
Anel Ahmedhodžić said:
“Georgia has quality players. I can create chances out of nothing, we have analysed them and it will not be easy. I think we can beat them, but we have to play at the highest level. We are better, but we have to show it on the pitch.”
Our defender is satisfied with the conditions in the BH FF Training Centre:
“This is my first time here and everything is very well organized. The conditions are great and we are able to be focused on what is most important, and that is training sessions and matches. We have prepared well this week and I believe that will bring us good results from these matches.”
After the press conference, the Dragons did a training session which was attended by the BH FF President Vico Zeljković.
The match Bosnia and Herzegovina-Georgia starts tomorrow at 20:45 h at the “Bilino Polje”. It will be the first match between these national teams.
