The head coach Ivaylo Petev and the national team player Miralem Pjanić answered the questions of the journalists.
“I am very satisfied with the work of the players on these preparations. We are all ready and can’t wait for the match. I expect us to play well and win. I’m sure we’ll do a good job tomorrow. We are only interested in three points and we will do our best to win them”, said the head coach Petev and continued:
“We have analysed the opponent and I am sure that we will neutralize their strengths tomorrow. However, what matters is our team and how we will play. We respect the opponent, but everything depends on us. It will not be easy, but I am sure that we will be better, that we will be focused for 90 minutes and achieve our goal. We will do everything we can to make our fans happy.”
Miralem Pjanić said:
“My expectations before these matches are high. We want to get to the play-off. Finland is a good team, but we are ready. We did well and tomorrow we will leave our hearts on the pitch. We know what awaits us, but we enter the match with the intention of dominating and winning. We must not allow the opponent a lot of opportunities and we must be aggressive, but also smart, because the match is of great importance for both teams.”
“It will be special for us to play in front of a full stadium. Our fans are the best in the world and we all know how much their support means to us.”
The national team will do an official training session in Butmir today at 15:00 h.
