We go for victory with all available forces

The press conference of the “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the eve of tomorrow’s match with Finland, which is being played within the 4th round of Group B3 of the UEFA Nations League, was held tonight at the Bilino Polje Stadium in Zenica.

The media representatives were addressed by the head coach Ivaylo Petev and the national team player Amir Hadžiahmetović.

Asked whether he would pay special attention to the Finnish striker Pukki, the head coach answered:

“Every opposing player must be covered, regardless of his position. We have to be strictly careful in all lines on the pitch. There can hardly be any surprises, our unity on the pitch is important, in order to achieve a positive result. We go for victory with all available forces. Everyone is there to give his best. We have to be focused, in order to do the match the best we can.”

Petev also spoke about the health status:

“It can be said that we have some problems, but these are common things in this period. Given the importance of the match, I believe everyone will be available. We will have a training session tonight, so we will see if all the players will be in the squad.”

The journalists were interested in whether there would be special pressure on the players in the midfield tomorrow, to which Sanjin Prcić replied:

“We need to run a lot in every match, especially in the midfield. The Finns are a quality and well-organized team, so the race in the middle of the pitch alone will not be enough, we will have to be careful in defence as well.”

Prcić spoke about his role on the pitch as well as about tomorrow’s opponent:

“I play the same position in the national team as in the club. I try my best to meet the requirements of the head coach. We will play the second match with Finland in a short time interval. It could have been better in Helsinki, but we did some good things, we played strong pressing and in the end we deservedly equalized. We know the opponent and we want to finish this mini-cycle in the best way.”
